CHP Experience of MKRCMKRC
has completed over 100 pre feasibility CHP studies and 10 detailed studies including a
Front End Design. MKRC has implemented four CHP projects totalling to 71.5 MWe
achieving a savings of Rs. 68 Crores with a payback of less than 3 years. Three more CHP
projects totalling to 15 MWe with an estimated saving of Rs. 26 Crores and a payback of
under 3 years are under implementation. MKRC have the overall exposure to take assignments
from project initialisation to project implementation and guarantee performance according
to international norms. Finance can also be arranged under the Build Own Operate and
Transfer (BOOT) Concept for deserving projects.
In addition MKRC did a Macro Study of the CHP Potential in Tamil Nadu for the State Government and study to identify 20 companies with over 20 MWe CHP potential for a multinational in Chennai.
