Shri C Subramaniam, Former Governor of Maharashtra

I closely watched M K Raju throughout his professional career.  He always placed not only his own but also his company’s resources, without any reservation whatsoever, for any cause he had undertaken.

Recently I asked him to dwell into agriculture.  The MKRC presentation on “India the granary of the world” is outstanding.  I have every confidence; with this approach India can launch the second agricultural revolution.  Undoubtedly, MKRC brings with them professionalism at its best.

I remember very well “pulling and hauling” with technology transfer group of DuPont to get them to give you the energy conservation rights for India.  I am glad energy conservation has become the cornerstone of your business.

Dr C K Prahalad, Professor Corporate Strategy & International Business, University of Michigan

Management as a profession accommodates a wide variety of people – from cautious administrators to visionaries.  Visionaries are few and far between.  Mr. Raju has been one of the rare exceptions.

He was a lone voice in the 1960s in India, as he initiated actions to become global, focussed on performance-based compensation, quality orientation, manufacturing excellence and management development.  He has continued to stay the course – many steps  ahead of others.

Sri R K Swamy, Chairman, R K Swamy/BBDO Advertising Limited

I had the pleasure of working with MKRC since its very inception. I involved myself with Raju in initiating and organising the first Madras Management Association Convention and also the MMA Business Leadership Award and Anantharamakrishnan Memorial Lecture.

Raju never spared any one – his clients, vendors, advertising consultants, his colleagues and other professionals.  They have to bring to their jobs nothing but the best.
