MKRC, a General Management and Technical Consultancy Organization, was established in Madras in 1974 by a team of professional managers with a proven track record. The company has completed a large number of consultancy assignments in India and in the ASEAN region in varied industries both in the medium and large-scale sectors.  The company is also involved in applied research in the area of management.

Having been highly successful in general management and technical Consultancy, MKRC has moved into energy management services in 1985, with technical know-how from Du Pont, USA to cater to the needs of the industrial sector in India and abroad. Du Pont has over seven decades of in-house experience in energy management and two decades of experience in energy conservation Consultancy in developed and developing countries.

MKRC has diversified into Combined Heat and Power (CHP) with technical collaboration from UK with vast experience in Combined Heat and Power (CHP) projects having successfully conducted 90 major assignments as large as 150 MW and designed and installed 25 plants as large as 42 MW.
